“Warriors” is episode ten of season one of Sanctuary.
Will receives a text message from the wife of Danny, his best friend from college. Danny has apparently gone missing after investigating the disappearance of several homeless people, as Danny and his wife had been feeding them.
Danny, who now looks to be an Abnormal, is part of a fight club that stages battles between Abnormals. The participants are unwilling; in fact, they are Abnormals who have been created from normal humans by the Cabal to be used as soldiers.
The investigation leads them to a warehouse where some of the fights took place. There, they find a man who Dr. Magnus says is her father (played by Jim Byrnes, who also has a role in Andromeda). How he survived into the present is not known; in “The Five” it was revealed that Helen Magnus had gained her longevity by injecting herself with vampire blood. The man claims not to be, or cannot remember being, her father. The elder Magnus had a link to the Abnormals that are competing in the Cabal’s fight club, though, so having a man who resembles him linked to the same creations seems rather unlikely. There are various flashbacks to Helen’s youth with her father as well.
Meanwhile, Will is captured, and is also induced into becoming an Abnormal, one that rather resembles the Incredible Hulk, although without the green skin, and forced to fight.
The Cabal seem to have some sort of plan involving the created Abnormals.
