“Through the Looking Glass” is episode seventeen of season one of Farscape.
Many of the crew are considering abandoning Moya because she is not able to starburst due to her pregnancy. Which means that they can’t leave the Uncharted Territories and are at risk of being captured. Pilot and Moya decide to demonstrate that she can still starburst. Which proves a rash decision, as the starburst goes wrong.
D’Argo, Aeryn and Rygel disappear and many of the ship’s functions are down. They have been transported to what seems to still be Moya, but the ship has been split across dimensions, and Crichton joins them. The dimension they are in is disturbing to say the least, and there are more of them, all unpleasant in different ways, with crew members scattered across them. And it looks like there may be something else there.
The looking glass reference is to Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, the sequel to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
