“Jeremiah Crichton” is episode fourteen of season one of Farscape.
Crichton, being a bit miffed with everyone else on the ship, goes for a ‘drive’ in his module when suddenly Moya decides to starburst and he gets left behind. This was unintentional, despite how everyone is (not) getting on with each other. He has to land on a (presumably nearby) planet. He then starts channelling Captain Kirk, as he finds a beautiful native woman.
Either the starburst had a reverse effect on Crichton’s module, sending him light years backwards, or someone has a rather inaccurate idea as to how far apart star systems are, because Moya searches many different systems, and there’s no way Crichton’s module could have even reached one system by itself, unless it was already in it. In fact, it’s rather doubtful he could have travelled very far even within one system; the Farscape-1 is hardly an interplanetary craft unless it’s undergone some serious retrofitting.
