“Family Ties” is episode twenty-two of season one of Farscape and the season finale.
Moya is still hiding in the rather unrealistic and dense asteroid field from Crais’s command carrier and Scorpius, when Rygel takes one of Moya’s transport pods and heads for the command carrier, to offer Scorpius and Crais Moya, her offspring, and all the others in return for his freedom.
The others, not being interested in being captured by the Peacekeepers, consider a pre-emptive and suicidal strike on the command carrier. This results in some maudlin moments.
Is Rygel playing a secret game though?
It took some time, but finally the episodes are becoming interlinked, rather than being totally separate. Of course, given the fact that some of the earlier episodes are in different orders depending which source is checked, having them interlinked would have been massively confusing.
