“Purple Haze” is episode ten of season one of Eureka.
Henry is constructing a new cell and WiFi tower, and Carter has to intervene between Fargo and his neighbour. The neighbour helps his plants grow by playing really loud music at all hours of the day and night. Fargo is less than happy about the constant disturbance to his sleep.
Suddenly, everyone falls over asleep. The next day when they wake up, everyone is acting more than a little weird – even for Eureka. Everyone except Carter and Zoe.
Carter tries to find out what’s happening. The new cell tower seems a logical suspect. Carter and Zoe’s smart house is, of course, a tightly sealed bunker that’s intended to keep things out – which is probably why they haven’t been affected.
Beverley comes very close to revealing that she’s some sort of spy, and there’s more mention of the artefact in Section 5.
