“Just Another Day…” is episode thirteen of season five of Eureka, the season finale and the final episode in the series.
At the end of the previous episode, “Double Take”, the Department of Defence had announced that they were pulling the funding for Global Dynamics and shutting down the town of Eureka (which seems incredibly short sighted). Holly, although returned, had basically forgotten everything since she first came to Eureka. Including her death.
Now, the movers are in and carting everything away. Fargo is trying to keep Eureka open. Henry is trying to get Grace freed. Everyone is deciding what they are going to do next. Of course, this being Eureka, something goes wrong and wormholes start popping up all over the place.
With this being the final episode, and presumably it was known before it was filmed, the wormhole plot doesn’t take up all the episode. Instead, a lot of it goes towards tidying up various storylines, and a fair few people return, so that everything is pretty much resolved and there is no cliffhanger ending.
