“In the Forest of the Night” is episode ten of season eight of the new Doctor Who.
A young girl is running through the forest and stumbles on the TARDIS. She says that she is looking for the Doctor, that she heard Miss Oswald’s voice in her head telling her to find him. The Doctor, meanwhile, seems to think that his TARDIS is broken, as it says he is in the heart of London, yet he’s in a forest.
The young girl, Maeve, tells him that he is in fact in London – in Trafalgar Square in be precise. Clara and Mr Pink have taken some of their students on a sleepover to a museum. When they try and leave, they find London overgrown. Overnight, the entire planet has been engulfed in a forest.
And there’s a huge solar flare heading to the planet.
