“Ourobouros” is episode twelve of season two of Andromeda.
Rev Bem has gone on a trip to find himself again, leaving a message for the others (not that he appeared in the previous episode, “Bunker Hill”, anyway). Unfortunately, the medicine that was keeping Harper’s Magog larvae from hatching has ceased to be effective, leaving him with about a week left to live.
Harper has a plan. Using the device he took from the agent of The Abyss in “Into The Labyrinth”, and some Perseid ingenuity, he plans to make a tesseract device to remove the larvae from him. Before he finishes it, strange anomalies start occurring all over the ship, and events from the past – and the future – start happening.
They have to turn off the tesseract device in order to stop them – even though it hasn’t been activated as yet – but this is made harder by the fact that the ship corridors don’t connect like they should. Also thanks to said tesseract device. It’s apparently having some weird effects.
