“Murphy’s Law” is episode four of season one of The 100.
In the previous episode, “Earth Kills”, Clarke had finally reconciled with Wills, Chancellor Jaha’s son and formerly her best friend, admitting that it was Clarke’s mother that betrayed her father, her husband, and got him floated, only for Wills to be killed by Charlotte (who seems to be the youngest of the 100) because Wills’s father had floated both of her parents, and his face was giving her nightmares.
When the truth comes out, things start to even more messy. Clarke decides to make her mother feel the same sort of hurt that she did, by removing her bracelet to make her mother think she’s dead.
Finn has found an old fallout shelter, and Murphy is still not winning any popularity contests. The title of the episode shows that Murphy is going to play a major part in it, as his behaviour finally gets him into trouble with the rest.
