“Heavy is the Head” is episode two of season two of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
In the previous episode, “Shadows”, S.H.I.E.L.D. was trying to recover an 0-8-4, the first of its type ever discovered, only to have it taken by Creel, a man who could assume the properties of any substance he touched. In the process, two agents died, and a third has now been captured.
They also needed to steal a Stark Industries Quinjet so that they could copy its cloaking technology. Fitz has suffered brain damage, and isn’t what he used to be. Plus, Simmons has left (where she has gone is a good question), but this hasn’t stopped Fitz from talking to a version of her that only he can see. Which doesn’t look good for the state of his mental health. Even worse, HYDRA seems greater than ever.
General Talbot has offered a deal to Hunter, but Hunter isn’t exactly following it. He does have some time to deliver, but that’s not what he really wants – what he wants is Creel. Creel is having his own problems from the 0-8-4 he stole.
