“Legacy” is episode fourteen of season three of First Wave.
Jordan is strapped to a machine and what look like two Gua technicians are working on her. She screams.
A limo arrives at a mansion where an even is taking place. Jordan is there. According to Cade, she’s been invited to a mansion owned by her late parents. Eddie linked the invitation to a quatrain referring to a traitor. Could the traitor have been Jordan’s father? Jordan needs to know the truth. Cade, meanwhile, is breaking in. The Radcliffe’s had a secret vault and Cade has found a safe.
Jordan is greeted by someone called Sabrina who wants to know where Jordan has been for the last 3 years. Occupied. Sabrina tried to call Jordan after her family died; she’s glad Jordan brought back the midsummer bash. Jordan didn’t; she’s just a guest. She wanted to see if the world is still here. Sabrina says it is, still decadent and wealthy. And an ex-fiancée is here as well.
Cade has cracked the safe and isn’t impressed with the security. He thinks Eddie was worried for nothing. Then opens the door and finds a screen asking for a pass card with a 60 second countdown. Evidently slightly more impressive security than thought.
Jordan speaks to a Keenan and Tara Barton. They say they missed her; the foundation missed her. Jordan started a foundation of her own. Is she coming back to the company? Jordan isn’t quite ready.
Cade has cracked the pass card reader, and the entire wall opens, revealing a hidden room.
Jordan asks who reinstated the ball and is told that it was Davis, of course. Davis arrives and Jordan goes to speak to him, giving him a hug. The others are smiling as she does. Jordan wants to speak someplace quiet.
Cade is searching file cabinets in the hidden room and finds a file on him. Eddie rings, making him jump. Cade has found another file on Radcliffe purchases.
Jordan is asking Davis if there was anything odd her father said or did before he died. Just to watch over the two things he cared for most; Radcliffe Enterprises and her. Jordan thinks he’s done a great job with the company. Well, when a woman leaves you at the altar, it allows you to focus on work. He has a necklace for her with an ‘R’ on it. Davis has been saving it for her. Jordan says she isn’t the same person she was.
Cade calls Eddie about some ownership transfer documents and says he would email them. Shouldn’t such be at the company headquarters, not in a secret vault? And there are alien files. Jordan’s father must have known about the Gua. There’s also a video for Jordan, that shows her father giving her the necklace Davis has just given her. And saying that, with this at her neck, she will always have the legacy close at hand. And the quatrain spoke about a legacy.
Davis tells Jordan he wants to save the company, but she needs to approve it. He wants a life, hopefully with her. Jordan refuses. Davis hoped it wouldn’t turn out this way. He leaves. The two Gua from earlier enter and one tranqs her.
Cade is waiting for Jordan. When she doesn’t show, he changes into evening wear. He greets Jordan, who thinks he must have mistaken her for someone else. She’s never seen him before in her life. Cade contacts Eddie; he doesn’t think it’s a clone. He asks about the documents. They relate to some companies bought years ago, all seemingly unconnected. Cade hears people approaching and hides. Davis and Keenan enter; the former is concerned. Keenan tells him there’s nothing to worry about. This is for Jordan’s benefit. The new process seems to be working.
Cade is looking at Jordan when Sabrina speaks to him. He asks about Davis and she explains who he is. Cade speaks to Jordan to apologise and asks her for a dance. Questioning about how she got here. Company car. The friend Cade mistook her for arrived in a limo he hired. Cade got out before it reached the house, but something happened to his friend before he could meet her. He’s afraid she’s in serious trouble.
Cade speaks to Keenan, getting him to have tequila. With salt. No reaction. Cade says he went to college with Jordan, but she doesn’t remember him. Keenan says he’s concerned; perhaps they can talk privately. Cade uses some physical talking. Keenan tells him Jordan has undergone a new process for removing bad memories. It seems to have done far more than that. It appears to have replaced a lot of memories with new ones. Cade needs to try and save Jordan, who no longer knows who he is, or what she’s been doing.
