“A Wanted (Inhu)Man” is episode three of season three of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
In the previous episode, “Purpose in the Machine”, Fitz had managed to rescue Simmons from whatever alien world she had been trapped on for the past few months. Simmons is now having the difficult task of re-acclimating to Earth.
Lincoln is being hunted by the ATCU and asks Daisy for help, even though he didn’t want to do so. He’s also feeling rather sorry for himself.
Coulson is meeting with Rosalind Price, the head of the ATCU. He wants the two agencies to cooperate, even though he probably doesn’t know just how violent the other agency is. The reason Coulson wants cooperation is because S.H.I.E.L.D. knows how to handle Inhumans better than the ATCU does.
Hunter has got Melinda May’s help in going after Grant Ward, but first he needs an in with HYDRA. A fellow Brit, Spud, can provide that in (and the conversation between the two, which is in English, has subtitles – also in English!). Ward is rebuilding HYDRA along very violent lines, much more violent than the original organisation was even in the beginning, and anyone who wants to deal with them has to use violence to prove themselves.
