“Modus Vivendi” is episode nineteen of season one of The Tomorrow People.
After leaving Ultra, Jedikiah breaks back in and tries to destroy the Founder’s Machine, but fails. The Founder, meanwhile, is trying to get Stephen to use the Machine, despite what Jedikiah wishes.
The Founder also states that he wants a truce between Ultra and the Tomorrow People, and to return Ultra to the roots he claims Jedikiah turned it away from.
Stephen has an odd mixture of paranoia and naiveté, in that there are some people he seems willing to trust, no matter what, and others he refuses to. The Founder certainly doesn’t seem to be as trustworthy as Stephen believes he is.
