“Urgo” is episode sixteen of season three of Stargate SG-1.
A MALP discovers a pleasant, uninhabited world. SG-1 step through the gate to visit it and, to their minds, immediately return through the gate instead of reaching their destination. They had been gone for over 15 hours, and seemed to have disappeared. It also looks like the MALP’s image is false. It appears that there is an advanced civilisation on the other side. The team shows no sign of tampering – until they start drinking the coffee. Then they get very hungry, and start really, really enjoying the food – as if they’d never eaten food before.
It turns out that they have all had something implanted in their brains in the missing time. The team is quarantined, and then start hearing voices. And then seeing things.
Bit of a comedy episode in some respects.
